Ron Foley Macdonald is a filmmaker in Halifax who began his career with the NFB (National Film Board of Canada). He has written and directed three feature films; he has produced 15 more, all of which have been broadcast on Eastlink TV. Macdonald has produced 16 seasons of the Ghost Hunting show Haunted. He has written for the Globe and Mail, The Daily News, Take One and Cinema Canada Magazines. He was the film curator at the Dalhousie University Art Gallery for 31 years and the Senior Programmer at the Atlantic Film Festival for three decades. He has lectured on film at NSCAD, Dalhousie and King’s Universities. He also worked for CBC Radio as a regular columnist and a producer for the National Program, The Arts Tonight.
